One of the wonders of the world, now a World Heritage site. This crater was formed when a large volcano exploded and collapsed on itself about 3 million years ago. 610 metres deep and it's floor covers 260 square kilometres. The wildlife is incredible here, although the lions are inbred as the Maasai people cull them if they try come in out of the crater, to protect their livestock.
